Hiroshima Dreamination

In the center of Hiroshima, winter opens like a storybook of light. From December 4 to January 24, the Dreamination — dream plus illumination, as the name admits — colors the city's streets from 5:30 to 10:30 each night, after an opening night that begins at six. The detailed map of venues is still to be announced; what is certain is the season itself, and the city's habit of turning its downtown into a stage each winter. Some festivals ask you to travel to them. This one simply lights the streets people were already walking.
